What we collect

You can use the free lessons without creating an account. If you create or use a Music Theory Wizard account, we collect your email address, account details and records of the grades you have bought.

Lesson progress stays on your device. The app does not send your answers or progress to us.

Why we use it

Your account lets you use purchases on both the website and the app. Apple processes App Store payments. We check Apple purchase records so that your bought grades can be restored.

What we do not do

• No advertising.
• No analytics or tracking.
• No sale of personal data.
• No collection of precise location, contacts, photos or microphone recordings.

Keeping information safe

Account access uses a secure connection. The app stores its sign-in session in Apple’s Keychain on your device. Apple handles App Store payment information.

Your choices

You can log out or delete your account in the app at any time. Deleting an account removes your Music Theory Wizard account and course records. Apple keeps its separate App Store purchase history, so you can restore an Apple purchase later.
